Job Description: As a PowerBuilder Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing software applications using PowerBuilder (version 2017 or higher). You will work in a hybrid environment, spending two days a week in the office. This role requires strong SQL query writing skills to handle complex data retrieval tasks and the ability to document and perform unit testing effectively. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain software applications using PowerBuilder (version 2017 or higher).
Write complex SQL queries to retrieve data from Sybase and MS SQL Server databases.
Document and perform unit testing to ensure the quality and functionality of developed software.
Collaborate with team members to decipher existing code and implement new features with minimal guidance.
Work in a hybrid environment, splitting time between the office and home.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
Expertise in PowerBuilder development (version 2017 or higher).
10 years of experience writing complex SQL queries.
10 years of experience documenting and performing unit testing.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Willingness to learn new technologies and approaches.
Ability to work in a hybrid office and home environment, with a requirement to be in-office two days a week.
Capable of quickly understanding and working with existing code with minimal supervision.
