Key Responsibilities:
Provide advanced network administration and maintenance for enterprise VMware, SAN, and data centers across multiple locations.
Manage enterprise video conferencing and VOIP systems at an advanced level.
Perform firmware, hardware, OS upgrades, and patch management.
Monitor network performance and perform necessary tuning.
Maintain backup copies for all network component configurations.
Participate in implementing and testing disaster recovery (DR) processes.
Regularly test network redundancy and failover circuits.
Analyze and define system information requirements for networking-related application and system enhancements or replacements.
Prepare documentation for network changes or replacements and manage multiple projects or large tasks for their implementation.
Develop, implement, document, and validate comprehensive test plans for networking components and interfaces.
Provide 3rd level networking support and 24/7 on-call support if applicable.
Identify and resolve inter-networking issues between different vendor systems and devices.
Required: CompTIA A , Network , Windows, UNIX, Linux
Preferred:
Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional or Expert
Brocade Certified Network Engineer
