Cyclonaire is currently looking for a Channel Sales Manager to join our team.
The Channel Sales Manager will lead the company’s efforts to win, expand, and maintain relationships with large, multi-national, and multi-location customers through two distinct channels: Manufacturers’ Representatives & Rail Traction.
The Channel Sales Manager will oversee Cyclonaire’s North American manufacturers’ representatives and responsible for achieving year-over-year territory sales growth through directly supporting their prospecting, qualification, key-relationship development, and profitable capture of new business across all sectors of Cyclonaire’s business.
The Channel Sales Manager focuses on the headquarters and key buying locations of customers within each assigned territory, facilitating cross-territory coordination with customer satellite locations to guarantee account penetration and visibility for the company, and its representatives.
The Channel Sales Manager will additionally represent and support the entire range of company products and services directly to our Rail Sanding Sector customers while leading trusted advisor relationships with the key customer decision-makers within the largest and biggest potential Fortune 1000 companies to achieve sales quota and ensure annual revenue growth.
Essential Functions
Competencies: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, are required to express technical and non-technical concepts clearly and concisely. Technical skills required to create proposals and find solutions to meet client requirements, such as using software programs. Excellent organizational skills are required to meet goals and set priorities. Must be able to work in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and Microsoft Teams.
Education / Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field is required. A minimum of 5 years of strategic sales experience in a B2B sales environment is required. Sales experience in construction or engineering is preferred. Sandler Sales Training or IMPACT Selling (Brooks Group) experience is desired.
Physical Demands: Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting and standing. Talking, hearing, and repetitive motions are required. Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Work requires constant visual ability.
Work Environment: Onsite or remote home office. Clean and climate-controlled office environment in a manufacturing facility while onsite.
Travel Requirements: Travel required up to 50% of the time. Must have a valid driver’s license and a driving record that permits the use of company automobiles. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid passport for periodic international travel requirements.
Safety: Safety shoes (steel or composite toe), safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, Hard Hat, and other forms of Personal ProtectiveEquipment (PPE) as required in designated areas at the facility.
Other Duties: Safe work performance is always required from each employee. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe manner in accordance with applicable Health and Safety Manuals. Required to wear or use PPE as applicable and to immediately report unsafe working conditions. Understanding and adhering to Cyclonaire Core Values is required.
