Job Description:
- Members will need a valid passport and work permit if applicable.
- The Client Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated DE Seibi Technician.
- The primary responsibility of this role is to perform DE studies (develop virtual robot programs, confirm process feasibility) in support of New Model implementation to Manufacturing Centers.
- This role will also include programming robots at manufacturing or vendor facilities, supporting equipment preparation, other production related studies, development of Weld Schedules, and department efficiency/improvement initiatives.
- Reporting to the DE Project Manager, the person in this role will support the client's department's objective to provide new model processes to the manufacturing facilities which meet all targets for Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost and Compliance, while continuously improving our processes.
- Conduct DE study to produce virtual robot programs and confirm new model process feasibility.
- Confirm Digital Factory Condition for accuracy.
- Create Weld Schedule Instruction Sheets and provide other supplemental documents to customers.
- Conduct New Model process planning (DE) studies.
- Support Machine Seibi in new model preparation activities, including programming robots at vendor locations or manufacturing centers.
- Prepare and confirm new or modified Body Weld equipment at the vendors or manufacturing centers.
- Develop equipment countermeasures during planning/set-up/trial phases.
- ssociate technical degree (or higher), or 1 year of equivalent technical work experience.
- Experience with robotic programming of industrial robots using teach pendants/coding.
- Experience with virtual robotic programming using any 3d simulation software.
- bility to travel up to 30% at times (including international travel).
- bility to work up to 50% overtime.
- Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in an Engineering/Technical.
- CARROT SEIBI, MACHINE SEIBI or Body Weld maintenance experience.
- (Carott3) experience.
- Visual Components (BisFactory) experience.
- Body Shop Project / Mass Production Experience.
