Cynet Systems is Hiring an Operations Support Near Carpinteria, CA
Pay Range $10hr - $15hr
- Gathers materials located in the cold room, warehouse or storage shelves.
- Places materials from shelves in these areas on to a cart and pushes cart to the assembly line.
- Counts assembly material /supplies to ensure there is the correct amount of material (boxes, packaging material, reagent vials) to perform assembly function.
- Assembles boxes, puts the vials in the packaging and then into final box.
- Once assembled, moves the final boxes into the cold Room or into room temperature storage area.
- Small orders are moved on a cart, larger orders moved on a pallet jack.
- Cleans up the area and completes documentation paperwork.
- Maintain and update manufacturing Device History Records.
- Perform in-process inspections of labels, labeling and assemblies.
- Assist in inventory control activities.
- Maintain clean and organized manufacturing area.
- Support other company functions as assigned.
- Education High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Some higher education or specialized training/certification preferred.
- 1-3 years relevant experience preferred in regulated manufacturing environment.
- Requires basic Math, Interpersonal Skills, Communication Skills, , Quality Control.
- Can respond to requests for information in a timely manner, and consistently meet goals and deadlines.
- Skilled in managing workload, prioritizing tasks, and developing effective work procedures.
- Ability to learn, how to operate general production equipment such as: label application, and packaging equipment.
- Balances, fume hood, thermal transfer label imprinters, and other general production equipment that may be used.
- Follow specific/detailed instructions.
- Requires the ability to follow specific/detailed instructions.
- Requires the ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations, interruptions, or last minute requests.
- The ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Requires the ability to concentrate for extended periods of time.
- Detail-Oriented.
- Requires the ability to pay attention to details to produce accurate results.
- Requires the ability to adapt to change, remain open to new ideas, take on new responsibilities, handle pressure, and adjust plans to meet changing needs.
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
- Manual Dexterity (use of hands).
- Hand-Eye Coordination.
- Due to the nature of the job the candidate should be able to lift 25-50 pounds with assistance.
- Mobility Required
- Frequent exposure to general laboratory and biochemical hazards, daily exposure to 2-8-deg. C Temperatures in cold rooms and exposure to fumes and odors.
