Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing and analysis of payroll transactions in compliance with company policies and all relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Assist in quarter-end and year-end activities.
- Maintain and improve internal control procedures and processes related to payroll, ensuring accuracy, effectiveness, and reliability.
- Perform payroll system testing for patches, enhancements, and upgrades to validate expected functionality and recommend and implement improvements.
- Initiate, lead, or actively participate in special projects to meet customer needs.
- Cross-train with team members to ensure adequate coverage, accurate and consistent information, and timely processing; provide training to team members.
- Analyze and validate payroll processing results using technology, including reports and macros.
- Assist in transitions during mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures by analyzing payroll impacts for domestic and international payrolls.
- Support payroll system testing and implementation.
- Undertake other projects and tasks as assigned by the manager.
- 5 years of experience in all aspects of payroll, including supporting payroll system implementation.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to meet critical deadlines, manage priorities and workflow, and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and all Office applications.
- Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud or ERP systems is highly preferred.
