About Us: At Cypress Garden Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, we are dedicated to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to join our exceptional team. As a DON, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our mission is fulfilled through your clinical expertise and leadership skills.

Salary: $170k - $195k

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and oversee the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with current regulations and guidelines.
• Participate in the development, maintenance, and updating of written policies and procedures governing the Nursing Department.
• Contribute to the development, maintenance, and implementation of the Facility’s quality assurance program for the Nursing Department.
• Assist in facility surveys (inspections) conducted by authorized government agencies as requested by the Administrator.
• Conduct daily rounds of the Nursing Department to ensure all nursing personnel are performing their duties to acceptable standards.
• Review and address complaints and grievances from department personnel, ensuring appropriate reports are made.

Requirements:

• Current license and registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing experience in Long Term Care with managerial experience.
• Proven leadership and management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
