Responsibilities:

• Contribute to significant initiatives aimed at enhancing our financial platform capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand feature and product visions and provide engineering insights.
• Design intuitive API interfaces and domain models to ensure consistency across multiple downstream vendor integrations.
• Develop secure, resilient, scalable, and high-performing systems for transaction processing and customer data management.
• Uphold and promote high standards of technical excellence within the team.
• Ensure operational excellence by participating in the team's on-call rotation and resolving production issues from root cause analysis to resolution.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize projects and communicate changes effectively.
• Estimate project timelines, ensuring adherence to schedules, and escalate issues as necessary.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in talent acquisition to bolster the team's capabilities.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of relevant technical experience in software development.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Proven track record of leading projects from architectural design to production while upholding high technical standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a history of effective teamwork with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Experience or interest in developing FinTech, payment, or banking systems.
