About the Opportunity
OKX Data team is responsible for the whole data scope of OKG. From technical selection, architecture design, data ingestion, data storage, ETL, data visualization to business intelligence and data science, we are a collection of data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists. The team has end-to-end ownership of the data at OKX throughout the whole data lifecycle including data ingestion, data ETL, data warehouse, and data services. As a data engineer, you will work with the team to leverage data technologies to empower evidence-based decision-making, and improving the quality of the company's products and services. Being a part of the risk domain, you'll have the opportunity to dive into risk behavior analysis and risk strategy/model development.
What You'll Be Doing

• Responsible for offline data warehouse creation, including ODS, DWD, DWS and ADS layer. This will be done on both Alicloud and AWS platforms.
• Creating real-time data warehouse by using tools like flink, hologress, aurora etc. to build resilient and efficient real-time data pipelines.
• Risk data mart creation, and optimizing code to be resource-friendly and readable.
• Last but not least, you'll be ensuring data integrity and scalability through enforcement of data standards. You'll also be improving data validation and monitoring processes to proactively prevent and identify issues. Also, driving resolutions to those issues.

What We Look For In You

• Minimum 5 plus years of data engineering experience
• Solid experience with data processing tools such as Spark, Flink, etc
• Solid experience implementing batch and streaming data pipelines
• In-depth knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases, including performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Be proficient in SQL, familiar with advanced SQL/FlinkSQL features such as window functions, aggregate functions and creating scalar functions/user-defined functions.
• Familiar with AWS Data Pipeline
• Solid experience in programming languages such as Hive-SQL, Python, Java, Spark
• Self-driven, innovative, collaborative, with good communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in both Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Haves

• Familiar with Alicloud Data Engineering process
• Risk related job experience, payment industry and payment risk are best
• Familiar with DevOps tools such as Git, Docker, k8s

Okcoin Statement:
The salary range for this position is $159,000 to $239,000. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
