Job Description
- Support R&D, clinical and training teams at with their beating heart system needs, by providing animal or human cadaver fixed hearts and other beating heart equipment.
- Order, and maintain the inventory for the animal and human cadaver heart programs.
- Process and fix animal and/or human cadaver hearts to be used in beating heart systems.
- Pack and ship equipment, animal and human cadaver hearts globally to be used for training or development of products.
- Maintain documentation for orders and shipments.
- Work closely with project team members, and internal partners to deliver project objectives.
- Operate a wider range of lab equipment including set-up, clean-up, break-down, and re-assembly.
- Perform operational tests and identify failure modes on systems and equipment; may propose technical solutions.
- Associate's Degree or equivalent in or technical degree/certificate , 2 year’s experience R&D Lab and/or medical device experience required. Bachelor’s degree is acceptable.
- Demonstrated hands on experience in assembling parts, and testing.
- Demonstrated data collection, organizing, and presenting them.
- Experience with handling animal or human cadaver tissue is preferred.
- Self-motivated, self-starter and take direction as needed.
- Detail oriented with good communication and documentation skills.
- Demonstrated task ownership and accountability for task results.
- Must be a team player and be able to work and get direction from project team members.
- Be able to carry objects up to 30lbs and stand for periods of time.
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.
- $23.52 to $31.37 per hour.
