Technical Program ManagerOverview
  • We inspire millions to create together, connect people across the globe, and bring together a community that is among the most active and passionate in the world. The Web Team is looking for a seasoned Program Manager (PM) who has experience in managing multiple stakeholders while also driving large feature implementation on the web across multiple quarters to end user go live. This Web PM will need to ensure predictability and quality across deliverables from various disciplines (engineering, design, QA, content, loc, etc). In addition, this PM will have partners and stakeholders across time zones throughout the US, India, and Sweden.
  • As a Project Manager on the Web team, the responsibilities include delivering on a product’s vision, collaborating on the roadmap planning and managing multiple projects through all life stages of project development ranging from early conception, pre-planning, planning, execution, stabilization, user acceptance, end user release, and continued maintenance. You will own and manage backlogs for the engineering team, lead them alongside a technical dev lead and Product Owner to drive clarity around timelines and user acceptance criteria, lead new feature demos, align stakeholders on features and statuses, execute on roadmaps based off business priorities, drive design mock up creation with ux designers/artists, champion quality deliveries across multiple quarters, and keep a pulse on potential risks and threats while providing plans to mitigate before issues become fires. It will be key that this person can both understand the product’s vision, and deliver on that vision across multiple quarters. Lastly you will find and leverage telemetry, and service data to identify highly complex patterns, generate hypotheses on user behavior, and build a plan to best deliver powerful and delightful features.
  • In this role, a seasoned PM will manage and support development on .net and work to improve the logged in experience. This PM would be expected to embrace the Web Team’s long-term goal around how we want to work as a team, which is to deliver delightful, accessible, y web experiences with modern web agility.
Candidate Responsibilities
  • Work at various stages of development to ensure milestones are delivered on time and to the highest possible quality amongst onshore and offshore teams.
  • Create and maintain the project schedule; ensure teams are on track with their deliverables.
  • Expertly communicate with engineers and business stakeholders on project requirements and deliverables, development velocity, and overall project status
  • Clearly, and quickly identify potential threats, risks and other dependencies that occur throughout the development and implementation process and provide mitigation plans to correct course.
  • Keep the team aware of milestones deliverables and goals through all phases of development.
  • Manage the development processes as well as partner with Content, Localization, and QA teams to ensure content enters our AEM instance and publishes at quality.
Candidate Requirements
  • Excellent organizational and program management skills, with proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing tasks/priorities.
  • Experience with creation of delightful experiences and content curation using many different media types including video, social, animation etc for a website.
  • Well-developed communication, storytelling and project management skills are required.
  • 5-8 years of experience in managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects on the web demonstrating analytical problem solving
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies such as: Waterfall, SCRUM, or other agile methodologies is preferred.
  • Proven ability to plan, create and maintain a highly effective production schedule for multiple disciplines in all phases of development, from concept to completion.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive and influence across teams towards adoption of engineering best practices.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager and end-to-end Web Development. Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal, along with project management skills and seasoned and conflict resolution.
  • Be results driven and possess a growth mindset with the ability to collaborate with others.
  • Familiarity with and Mojang experiences is not required, but is strongly preferred.
Compensation
  • Up to $78.00/hr (W2 / Non-Exempt)
