CYRACOM INTERNATIONAL INC is Hiring a Financial Analyst I Near Tucson, AZ

As a Financial Analyst I, you will be the front-line representative for a wide variety of reporting from the Financial Planning & Analysis Department. You perform multiple and diverse professional analyses to guide and help facilitate business decisions. Data mining is key to your role, as the majority of your day will be working with large data sets. You always strive for continual improvement and identify options for refining business processes. You take pride in knowing that your work has a direct impact to the company. You use independent judgment and innovation for day-to-day work and decisions.

As a Financial Analyst I, you will:

  • Run recurring Operational reporting and review for anomalies.
  • Develop an understanding of the company revenue & expenses and be able to apply that knowledge into budget development.
  • Analyze billing data to track revenue performance versus budget.
  • Create and develop tools or systems, including databases and spreadsheets, to improve data analysis and reporting.
  • Evaluate specific customer or queue data for use in profitability reporting.
  • Analyze and report on monthly changes and budget variances for all financial statements in the form of the financial statement notes with follow-up analysis.
  • Assist Staff Accountants with error identification and correction.
  • Perform cost modeling and what-if scenarios used to make strategic business decisions.
  • Maintain a high level of technical proficiency, professionalism, and critical thinking skills in the business and technical aspects of the department’s function.
  • Respond to and/or assist with various information requests as assigned by supervisor.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Exercise a high degree of professionalism and self-motivation using personal initiative to identify and recommend best practices.
  • Demonstrate a continued commitment to professional education and industry best practices.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • All employees are required to perform the following essential functions: demonstrate predictable, reliable and timely attendance; follow written and verbal directions and complete assigned tasks on schedule; read, write and communicate in English; communicate in person and by telephone in accordance with CyraCom policy; learn from directions, observations and mistakes; work independently or as part of a team; interact appropriately with others including co-workers, supervisors and customers; and work with supervision, receiving instructions/feedback, coaching/counseling and/or corrective action.

As a Financial Analyst I, you must be:

  • Skilled in researching and analyzing information to determine trends, relationships, errors, and data anomalies.
  • Skilled in time management and data analysis.
  • Skilled in performing detailed and complex numerical computations.
  • Skilled in preparing detailed reports on a timely basis.
  • Skilled at verbal and written communication.
  • Able to competently operate common office equipment including, but not limited to computer, fax, copier and telephone system.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective work relationships.

As a Financial Analyst I, you must have:

  • Exceptional Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of cost and financial accounting principles, practices and procedures.
  • Strong critical thinking, root cause analysis and risk assessment skills.
  • Knowledge of the principles and techniques used in financial analyses.
  • Knowledge of core business computerized systems and applications and keyboard facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or directly related field.
  • Experience manipulating raw data into a usable format to support analysis and recommendations.
  • Motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented, and flexible.

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Prior work or internship related to professional financial/systems/management analysis that includes advanced use of Microsoft Office.

The incumbent may delegate all or any of his/her duties to qualified personnel; however, such delegation does not relieve him/her of overall responsibility and accountability for the successful conduct of those duties.

Physical Demands:

Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time.

Extensive use of a computer and repetitive hand movements in the performance of duties.

Occasional lifting and carrying of material weighing up to twenty pounds may be required.

Environmental Factors: This position works in an indoor office environment with a quiet level of office noise.

Equipment Operated: Personal computer, printer, copier, fax and telephone equipment.

BENEFITS & COMPENSATION HIGHLIGHTS

This position is expected to start at an annual salary of $55,000.00 - $65,000.00, depending on experience
