Position Summary

ORNL Federal Credit Union is searching for an experienced individual to join their executive management team as the Chief Strategy and Growth Officer. This individual will act as a strategic advisor to the President & CEO and Board of Directors and will aid with planning and executing the annual Strategic Planning Session, updating the short- and long-term Strategic Plan for the President & CEO and Board’s approval, and ensuring that credit union activities remain aligned with the Strategic Plan. Other responsibilities include crafting and executing the organic and inorganic geographic expansion and member growth plans and coordinating with executive-level leaders to integrate these throughout all business lines. This position will provide executive leadership to CUSO lines of business and adjacent Lending businesses, Data Insights, and Process Improvement throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, Lending and CUSO experience as well as working with large financial institutions. A relevant degree and 10 years’ leadership experience; additional leadership experience may be substituted for a degree. Executive experience at a credit union and experience managing mergers and acquisitions is preferred.
