Shift and Schedule

In-home demonstrations are pre-scheduled. Full time hours average 30-40 hours/week.

Sales reps have influence on when they would like their appointments scheduled.

Since 1982, D&J has served the fine people of the east coast with quality and excellence. In this 40 year span, D&J has sold more than 65,000 cleaning systems to consumers using a referral-based, direct-sales model that is second to none.

The Rainbow is manufactured by Rexair LLC. Rexair is a proud Made in America product that is produced in Cadillac Michigan and distributed worldwide to over 80 countries. The Rainbow home cleaning System is known for quality and for setting the bar in the cleaning industry.

At D&J Distributors, we are on a mission; to exponentially grow our market share throughout the east. As a result, we are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to develop our presence in the east. We are looking for a driven and talented sales professional to build relationships with clients to sustain and develop a pipeline of referrals.

Your onboarding and road to success with D&J Distributors:

  • Week one: 16 hours of In-class and in the field training sessions. Classroom training allows for hands-on training as well as an administrative walk-through on how to process sales & referrals. Field training allows you to see our representatives in action. You will ride-along on live presentations for real-world experience. At the end of the week, you will graduate as a solo representative. All equipment is provided so there is no cost to you.
  • Week two: As a solo rep, you will take the leads on referrals and sales calls. A manager or a senior rep will accompany you on sales calls and will assist you to ensure your success. You become eligible for all contests and bonuses as a solo representative.

As a D&J Business Development Specialist, you will have unlimited potential. We offer a competitive base salary and an aggressive commission plan, including guaranteed commissions. You’ll also be

provided with every tool you’ll need to be successful with no investment from you other than your time.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Executing a minimum of 12 demonstrations / week.
  • Contact and schedule 24 new customers each week through networking, social media prospecting, lead execution and cold-calling.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of existing and prospective clients
  • Maintaining an accurate inventory of products consigned.
  • Working effectively with all D&J Distributors support team members
  • Performing all duties with excellence while representing D&J.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Goal-driven and positivity. Sales experience preferred but not required.
  • A successful background in outside business development
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Proprietary system used similar to SalesForce)
  • Highly motivated, target-driven with a proven track record
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Openness to coaching and feedback
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Possess the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and repetitively reach, twist, turn, bend, climb and pull
  • Fulfill other requirements as required by D&J Distributors management.
  • Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish not required, but a big plus!

Compensation:

  • Base Commission: $300/week (Min of 12 in home demonstrations required).
  • High yield Commission from $300-$600/sale
  • 2 Paid vacations / year

Schedule:

  • Flexible /self-selected hours

Supplemental pay types:

  • Commission pay: $300-$600
  • Investment Pay: $100 bonus on all qualified sales.
  • Recruit Pay: $125/sale of all downline rep sales

Experience:

  • Outside sales: 1 year (Preferred / Not required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
