Description
SUMMARY : The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of a branch within an HVAC and Appliance distribution company.
This role involves managing sales, customer service, inventory, and staff to ensure efficient operations and profitability.
The Branch Manager will develop and implement sales strategies, maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, and manage the branch's financial performance.
Additionally, the role requires leadership in driving team performance, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following :
STANDARD HOURS :
The position of Branch Manager is classified as an exempt position; therefore, you will not be required to clock in and out using the time clock.
However, you must understand the definition of an exempt employee; Exempt employees are expected to do the work at hours necessary to accomplish the job, occasionally needing to arrive before 7 : 30 am to have the store ready for business and stay after 5 : 00 pm to ensure the servicing of customers.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, as well as possess the following :
SKILLS and ABILITIES : Effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers, clients, customers, supplier reps and corporate employees.
Must have the Ability to calculate and reconcile figures and amounts. Must be proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, and Internet.
HVAC / Appliance Sales and Marketing experience preferred. ERP software experience preferred.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE : Parts Store Management or College degree preferred with concentration in business management.
A proven track record in management, leadership and sales with a minimum of five (5) years experience preferred. Knowledge of appliance parts and HVAC parts preferred but not necessary.
