D-Riven Engineered Solutions is Hiring an Engineering Technician Near Canton, MI

D-Riven is looking for a ‘Hands On’ team member who is a team player to join an exclusive team that works to get the job done on site for our customers. We are looking for an Engineering Technician that plays a crucial role in supporting engineers and others in various technical duties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

·Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines. Identify potential safety hazards and take corrective actions to ensure a safe working environment.

·Conduct tests on material, components, and systems to ensure they meet specified standards and requirements. Collect and analyze data and assist engineers in interpreting results.

·Troubleshoot, identify, and diagnose mechanical issues and malfunctions in machinery, equipment, or systems. Determine the root cause of problems and implement effective solutions.

· Assist in the creation of prototypes and models based on engineering designs. Collaborate with engineers in refining designs and making improvements.

· Calibrate and adjust equipment to meet established standards. Ensure that measurement instruments are accurate and reliable.

·Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including reports, schematics, and manuals. Ensure that documentation is accurate, up to date, and easily accessible.

·Assemble materials on job site based upon provided prints from engineers.

·Work closely with engineers and others to support project goals. Participate in project meetings and contribute insights and expertise.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills & Requirements:

· Excellent personal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

·Proficient in using various hand and power tools. Familiar with mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems.

·Ability to recognize and solve typical problems using established operating procedures and scientific methods.

· Solid electrical aptitude and mathematical abilities appropriate to the position.

· Ability to analyze and interpret technical data.

· Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Proficient in using computer applications and software relevant to the engineering field.

· Experience in operating forklifts, personal lifts and other powered equipment.

· Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Required Experience and/or Education:

·Education: An associate degree in engineering or equivalent, combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.

·Years of Experience: 4 - 6 years in relevant experience, preferably in industrial manufacturing setting

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
