Position Summary: The Production Coordinator prepares raw material documentation for production floor to meet customer demand and manages raw material inventory. The Production Coordinator works closely with manufacturing, purchasing and logistics personnel to ensure raw materials are available to meet production order schedules.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Works closely with production planning team members to ensure correct raw material is stated on production orders
• Generates raw material nesting documentation for machine department for all production order orders that run through the production floor
• Creates purchase requisitions for raw materials and communicates to purchasing team any expedites that are needed
• Manages and identifies raw material sheet and structural material.
• Creates safety stock for raw material in the ERP system (SAP)
• Participates weekly production planning meetings and keeps team informed of any raw material supply chain issues or manufacturing concerns

Education and Experience:

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
• Experience in raw material nesting software preferred
• Computer experience with knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
• Experience ERP software's such as SAP or Oracle
• Good knowledge of modern manufacturing processes and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills

Physical Demands:

• This position requires interaction on manufacturing floor
• This position requires the ability to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.
• Consistently operates a computer and other office equipment such as a, copy machine, computer printer, calculator, etc.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the workday
• Ability to frequently communicate, verbally and or written with employees, management, vendors, and customers
