D'Youville University is Hiring a Mental Health Counselor Near Buffalo, NY

The highly visible incumbent is responsible for implementing the mission and vision of D'Youville University and the Division of Student Affairs while serving as a mental health advisor for the campus and licensed mental health provider/educator for the student population. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who thrives amidst an ever-changing and unpredictable work environment and will have demonstrated skills in the areas of mental health, counseling interventions, student support, holistic wellness and preventative programming. This position will work very closely with a fellow mental health counselor and numerous campus partners to ensure that programming and outreach within The Wellness Lodge aligns with current best practices. Evening and weekend hours may be required when the University is in session to manage workload and attend meetings and functions. • Dedicate at least eight hours per week to student educational program development and administration,
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to graduate assistants within the Wellness Lodge,
