With operations in the Washington DC Metropolitan region and beyond, we offer site work services across a broad spectrum of government, commercial and residential markets. We are seeking a skilled individual with prior Trimble GPS experience to join our team as Surveyor Party Chief.

Responsibilities:

• We are looking for a leader to take responsibility for synchronizing survey data, digital models, grade control equipment and layout support for operations and cost accounting.
• Work includes verify existing conditions, prepare project controls, and installation of GPS modeling for projects.
• Use Trimble GPS and other surveying equipment to accurately measure and record distances, angles, and elevations
• Assist with layout preparation
• Inspect and maintain surveying equipment, ensuring proper functioning and calibration
• Collaborate with engineers and construction teams to provide accurate survey data for project planning and development
• Assist with training of field personnel in the use of various layout tools.

Requirements:

• We work in high level security environments-- US Citizenship and Clean Criminal record required.
• Proven experience working as a Land Surveyor or similar role
• Proficient in using Trimble Work Manager
• Proficient in using surveying equipment such as GPS devices, total stations, and hand tools
• Knowledge of drafting software such as AutoCAD
• Familiarity with land surveying techniques and principles
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions and terrains

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
