The Orthodontic Operations Manager for Lone Star Pediatric Dentistry is responsible for achieving financial performance and revenue growth targets while managing practice operations to ensure an exceptional patient experience. This role involves establishing systems and processes that result in patient satisfaction, retention, case acceptance, employee engagement, provider engagement, and strong financial performance. The manager will oversee practice operations systems and provide support to all functional areas, including administrative support to both front and back office operations. This support is vital to fulfilling the Company’s mission of helping children achieve a lifetime of great oral health. Education/CredentialsMust have Orthodontic Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field; Master’s preferred or equivalent work experience.
Job-related Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership and functional Dental practice management experience.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry.
Strong Dental management/customer service management and leadership skills are a plus.
Experience leading a team and mentoring and coaching subordinates.

Major Duties And Responsibilities
Manage office staff, providing problem-solving, decision-making, planning, delegation, and conflict management when needed.
Build and maintain a positive office culture.
In coordination with RDO and Human Resources, select and orientate office staff.
Evaluate staff performance and submit performance reviews, ensuring 100% of staff complete required learning modules on time.
Conduct regular practice staff meetings.
Facilitate and resolve employee complaints/concerns.
Oversee onboarding and training for new employees.
Implement office policies to achieve performance goals, including patient satisfaction, access, employee engagement, provider engagement, financial performance, and successful growth.
Meet or exceed annual NPS targets through implementation and action plans.
Provide needed information to other departments (e.g., Human Resources, Marketing, Finance) to support compliance with established policies.
Ensure that necessary information and documentation are provided to support revenue cycle activities.
Act as an interdepartmental liaison between the practice and other departments and entities.
Report any safety-related incidents in a timely manner, including workers' comp, through the appropriate tool; attend all safety-related training programs; monitor the work environment for possible safety issues and ensure others are also performing work safely.
Stay current and comply with state and federal regulations/statutes and company policies that impact the employee's area of responsibility.
Monitor and ensure all certifications and/or licenses are up-to-date and valid before expiration dates.
Complete all company mandatory modules and required job-specific training within the specified timeframe.
