Responsibilities:

• Sets and installs structural steel girders, beams, columns, and other objects to complete forms for buildings, lumber mills, pellet plants, OSB plants and other structures
• Performs all work related to signaling, rigging, bolting, and/or welding of structural steel
• Completes tasks related to the loading and unloading of steel and fab packages at the site of work

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of verifiable experience in working with structural steel/ironworking
• Adequate knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for use of tools and machinery
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
• Shows up will a good attitude a willingness to learn and grow everyday
