Trissential is seeking a Consultant, Data Management Specialist to join our clients team remotely in Rochester, MN . The ideal candidate will be an expert in testing and integrating data across various systems. They will have a keen eye for reviewing data flow processes and a knack for proposing innovative solutions to optimize applications and data management practices. Additionally, this individual will excel at documenting and tracking user errors and experiences, using this information to drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role is open only to candidates authorized to work and reside in the US.

Responsibilities:
  • Build, maintain, and assure the validity of metadata contained in a research data management system
  • Construct metadata definitions and data fields
  • Program variable sequences, rules, and dependencies
  • Review clinical protocol design, system specifications, metadata definitions, and database infrastructure
  • Work independently and closely with clients and study teams to develop data transfer specifications and facilitate the creation of data transfer files
  • Support complex client operational service needs
  • Monitor and resolve system errors
  • Write and update Standard Operating Procedures and Working Instructions
  • Responsible for overall performance and operation of metadata and electronic collection methodology for assigned studies
  • Perform appropriate operational duties
  • Actively participate in research quality and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support compliance initiatives and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, ICH, GCP, JCAHO, and others)
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Coding experience
  • Familiarity with APIs
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Deep knowledge of databases
  • Experience with data governance and creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and working instructions for managing data
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based environments (e.g., Google Cloud)
  • Experience building dashboards and reports in Tableau or Power BI

Experience:
  • Two (2) years of clinical research experience
  • Experience in protocol development
  • Experience as a project analyst
  • Information Systems (IS) experience
Benefits:

Trissential offers competitive compensation package for full time roles. The hourly pay range for this role is $45 to $55 based on candidate's qualifications and experience. This role is eligible for benefits and includes options for medical, dental, vision, and tele-health benefits; Health Savings Account with company contribution; up to 48 hours of accrued paid safe and sick time, and 401k retirement savings.
