Overview:
This role will provide support in monitoring, developing, and ensuring accuracy among reports/data to accounts receivable.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a reliable person who will report to the Accounts Receivable Manager. Must be very comfortable operating in a dynamic, constantly changing environment, while possessing the ability to communicate effectively with all DaBella customer accounts.
DaBella is a home improvement company that specializes in residential remodeling, and we are actively looking for individuals who want to grow and develop with us as a company. We currently have 42 markets in 17 states and continuing to expand across the nation we are seeking to add a valuable member to our organization who will assist our accounting department in a clerical and professional way.
Status : Full Time
Total Comp : $20.00 - $23.00 hourly
Essential Functions:

• Entering new customers into our database, reviewing, and coding all vendor invoices for database entry.
• Reviewing of initial contracts to ensure gross amount is being accurately reported
• Assist Financial Controller and Accounting Manager with any month-end or closing tasks applicable to the AR department
• Collecting down payments from the production team and booking them into the system .
• Assign deposits to be processed at remote branches and audit their work to ensure deposits have been made promptly
• Process customer refund payments for approved addendums. Review applicable banking transactions to ensure all check and ACH payments are processed accurately and accounted for
• Resolving any payment issues , including but not limited to - disputed deposit amounts with our merchant service account, checks that have stop payments placed on them or have gone NSF
• Reviewing any drawn-up addendums that have occurred while the job is in progress. Making sure that information is then properly reflected within
• Processing all cancellation emails and ensuring all jobs are properly closed out in our database and returning customer deposits
• End-of-the-month audits of customer accounts, P&L reports, and other assigned tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• AA degree or 1-2 years of Accounting or Clerical experience
• Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Accuracy and high attention to detail and great organizational skills
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with excellent communication skills
