Dabri, Inc. is seeking an experienced Paving Inspector to support Caltrans for Highway project in multiple counties . This position is full-time and in person.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum six (6) years of demonstrated experience acceptable to Caltrans in paving construction inspections
• Work independently, interface and communicate effectively with other project team members.
• A minimum 2 of these six (6) years as a lead worker.
• Bachelor Degree in civil, electrical, mechanical engineering or Architecture
• ICC, ACI Certified

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily inspections and complete documentation including daily reports documenting contractor labor, equipment, daily construction progress, project site visitors, non-conforming work, safety issues, traffic control, field measured quantiles, field discussions with the contractor and public, and daily project photographs, etc.
• Coordinate with clients/owners, other consultants, contractors, materials testers and others involved with the project.
• Assist Resident Engineers and provide input on project schedule, extra work bills, potential change orders, and communication with businesses and residents.
• Read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Monitor construction for compliance with project documents including collecting and checking material tags and certificates of compliance.
• Measure, calculate, and document quantities of installed materials in accordance with client policies and procedures.
• Inspect paving construction (based on Caltrans Standards)
• Communicate with project team members and provide recommendations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
