Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team. As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This is a key leadership role that requires strong financial acumen and the ability to provide strategic guidance to the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Conduct regular balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and streamline financial operations
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making at all levels of the organization
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors
- Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred

- Construction and/or Restaurant experience preferred
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Solid understanding of balance sheet reconciliation, debits/credits, and financial statement analysis
- Experience with managing accounts payable/receivable processes
- Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
