Dade Service has a career opportunity for a Estimator and Sales Representative at our DeLand location. Our projects are across the country but estimating will be completed at our home office in DeLand.

Dade Service is a 4th generation family business design-build construction firm that values dedication, teamwork, customer relations and providing a quality product. We specialize in cold storage projects primarily for the produce industry.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Review project drawings, specifications and other documents to understand the project scope and requirements
• Analyze and interpret blueprints, take offs and technical documents to complete project estimates
• Assist in sourcing material suppliers and subcontractors
• Request quotes from material vendors and subcontractors
• Organize and keep specification sheets for all materials used
• Prepare complete proposals and estimates for projects within deadlines
• Utilize software for project estimates including but not limited to Google Sheets, Procore and Slack
• Quote and Process part sales
• Assist in shipping and receiving of materials
• Inventory ordering and management
• Coordinate equipment sales
• Compile and keep up to date BOM for projects based on project specifications and drawings
• Communicate collaboratively with project managers on all project estimates and material BOMs
• Assist project manager in project related tasks, as needed
• Job site visits may be required

Pay DOE

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in construction estimating, 1 year preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Highly skilled in excel (google sheets)
• Bachelor's (preferred)
