LOGISTICS ADMINISTRATOR

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

• Provide purchase orders to vendors. 
• Monitor finished product inventory, balancing cost with production risk. 
• Initiate clear communication with customers and production departments. 
• Ensure accurate transaction entries. 
• Anticipate production needs. 
• Prioritize daily departmental needs, and pivot quickly when necessary. 
• Resolve price and quantity discrepancies on customer invoices. 
• Maintain good relationship with the customers
• Maintain proper documentation of quotes, invoices, and receipts. 
• Analyze various reports (shortage/overage, forecast, and inventory-related reports) to determine material requirements for production.
• Initiate and respond to emails and phone calls from customer promptly. 
• Coordinate with customer to adjust material quantities or delivery dates. 

Requirements

• 1 - 2 years Logistics/Materials experience (preferred). 
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formula construction, etc.) 
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred. 
• 1 year SAP/MES experience 

Disclosure: This is a temp-to-perm position. All production employees for this role must be employed through a staffing agency for a minimum of 90 days.
