Role Description
The eCommerce Operator, located in our west coast office in the City of Industry, California, is responsible for managing tasks on marketplace platforms (Amazon/Walmart) for shelf stable and frozen products. This team member will be tasked with creating and improving product listings, SEO management, marketing content development, and maintenance of day-to-day eCommerce operations in the Grocery & Gourmet Food category.
We are looking for a sharp, creative mind with a basic to intermediate understanding of the online business space. An ideal candidate can multi-task, set priorities, develop & execute marketing initiatives based on sales data and market trends. We want a team player who is motivated to grow our brands and classify them as the best of their categories on all eCommerce platforms, with a focus on Amazon.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and maintain day-to-day operations of Amazon Seller Central/Walmart Seller Center/Shopify channels.
· Ensure product listings are compelling, accurate, optimized for cost-efficient SEO, and consistently updated.
· Monitor and forecast inventory levels with SCM.
· Implement pricing and promotional strategies that enhance sales and profitability.
· Create sales & advertising data and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth within the Grocery & Gourmet food category and the overall Asian food market.
· Develop and execute strategies to boost online sales, including external marketing/social media initiatives.
· Collaborate with the dedicated Amazon SAS Core manager to resolve technical issues.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
· 0-2 years of experience in E-commerce, ideally Seller Central.
· Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
· Keen eye for effective design content.
· Proficiency in using inventory management software.
· Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Experience in Google Workspace & Microsoft Suite.
· Bilingual (Korean)
Desired but not required:
· Experience in Helium-10
· Experience in social media management and knowledge of digital advertising (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
· Experience in food or CPG industry
· Experience in copywriting
· Experience in photography/videography/video editing
· Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing
· Genuine passion for Korean food culture
