Minimum Requirements:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI (prior coding experience a plus)
• 3-5 years of work experience in a related field
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and support multiple tasks with tight deadlines
• Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Duties:

• Responsible for interfacing with the trading desk via phone, email, and messaging applications.
• Managing the OMS to allocate orders across the firm's entities, and monitor the commission rates, fee schedules, and alerting systems maintained in the OMS.
• Prepare end-of-day reporting for the Executive Management Team, including daily, monthly, and trailing period performance.
• Monitor and update the security master system and work closely with Development to ensure that all security-related information is accurately represented for reporting across the firm.
• Interface with compliance for preparation/review of regulatory filings.
• Preparation and/or review of accounting for the firm’s funds, including gathering pricing data, subscriptions and redemption calculations, performance, and management fee calculations, allocating new issue income, recurring journal entries, monthly close, coordination with the administrator, money movements, and providing information to Director of Fund Accounting, Controller, CFO, and Portfolio Managers as necessary.
• Oversight of the administrator’s middle office to ensure interactions with the trading desk, executing brokers, and prime brokers are accurate and efficient. Confirm all trade breaks/fails have been resolved as per our SLA.
• Daily and/or monthly reporting of ROR calculations, positions, fund exposures, and performance attribution.
• Responsibility for producing time-sensitive information to the CFO, Investor Relations team, and the portfolio managers daily and monthly on a routine and non-routine basis.
