Global law firm located downtown. Paid parking, 37.5 hour work week, hybrid role supporting corporate accounting for someone on a leave.
Position Overview
This position is responsible for participating in month-end close, preparing and distributing the firm’s monthly financial reports, processing journal entries, preparing account reconciliations and other accounting functions.

Minimum Qualification
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, CPA certification preferred.
Experience: Three years of experience in general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
Special Knowledge: Possess experience in researching and applying accounting policies and procedures.
Technical Skills: 10-key and PC familiarity with a proficient understanding of Excel and accounting systems. Knowledge of Access, SQL and Aderant a plus.
Attributes: Ability to review, understand and analyze data as well as compile the results of analysis into clear reports. Also needs good verbal and written communication skills. Must possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications: Ability to work proactively and independently, and manage time and multiple projects simultaneously.
