Job Description

We are looking for a Talent Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting the recruiting team in all aspects of the hiring process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires. Your primary focus will be on scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process. You will work closely with 3rd party agencies, recruiters, hiring managers, and other members of the HR team to ensure a positive candidate experience and smooth hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Consult and coordinate with management on current and future hiring needs.
  • Source applicants to match hiring requirements, perform preliminary phone screening and schedule interviews.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive candidate experience and timely follow-up.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including coordinating new hire paperwork and communicating with hiring managers and other members of the HR team.
  • Prepare job offer materials in accordance with the job specifications so successful candidates have all necessary information.
  • Participate and contribute to recruitment related meetings.
  • Update candidate records and update job postings in Workday (Applicant Tracking System).
  • Participate in sourcing data analysis, forecasting and planning.
  • Manage communication with 3rd party agencies and contractors on contractor-related matters, including onboarding, scheduling, terminations, etc.
  • Assess and manage agency relationships.
  • Assist the department with various tasks Including HR-Related projects.
  • Ability to plan, execute, and monitor complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
  • Explore and utilize various sourcing channels such as direct sourcing, universities, employee referrals, and career and job fairs.
  • Represent Daher at job fairs and any other designated events to promote the organization to potential candidates.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma
  • 3 years of experience in full cycle agency recruiting or human resources field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics industries, preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to negotiate, influence and close a deal.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, with hiring managers, prospects, applicants, employees, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Knowledge of recruiting practices and legal requirements.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.
  • Experience with Workday preferred.

*10% travel required for attendance of monthly/quarterly career fairs.
