• Worksite Location: On-site in Cokato, MN
• Contract Length: 6-8 weeks, with the possibility for extensions

Accounting Coordinator Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, including obtaining proper approval of invoices, entering invoices into the ERP system, and issuing payments to suppliers. This position will also oversee supplier accounts and answer any supplier requests or questions. The Accounting Coordinator will also be responsible for adding and maintaining customer accounts, recording customer payments, and reviewing the aging of all customer accounts.
What you’ll do as the Accounting Coordinator:

• Enter supplier invoices into the ERP system and ensure all necessary approval for invoices received and purchase orders are matched and reviewed for pricing accuracy.
• Facilitate payments of foreign and domestic suppliers via check, ACH, or wire which may include verification of W9, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.
• Ensure outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identify discount opportunities, and work with purchasing/shipping on any pricing issues.
• Assist with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
• Calculate and report sales tax based on paid invoices.
• Record entry of verifies documentation for and distributes petty cash.
• Record customer cash receipts; credit card payments, check, or ACH/wire payments and post to customer accounts.
• Issue customer statements monthly and provides any outstanding invoices to customers when needed.
• Review account receivable aging report to ensure all accounts are paid in a timely manner and minimize any accounts going into a past due status.
• Maintain sales tax resale/exemption forms.
• Act as point of contact for all customer questions regarding invoicing and payments on account and maintains all customer account information.

What you’ll bring to the Accounting Coordinator role:

• An Associate’s degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years of related experience in accounting required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Strong computer knowledge.
• Advanced math and analytical skills.
• Good communication, organization, and documentation skills.
