Business Process Analyst - Mobile Apps

• Contract Duration: 6-months
• Worksite Location: Hybrid out of Saint Paul, MN or Remote
• Pay Rate: $40-50/hr plus benefits

Business Process Analyst Job Description:

The main function of a business systems analyst is to analyze science, engineering, business and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. A typical business systems analyst is responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations.

What you’ll do as a Business Process Analyst:

• Drive to understand the problem that is trying to be solved to ensure a successful end result
• Ability to gather requirements form business stakeholders and translate those into user stories for developers to execute
• Ability to scope, analyze, translate & document the use cases & collaborate with the technical teams to build out the required ‘pipelines’ needed to execute on the requirements
• Ability to understand business processes and identify area for improvement to enable a better user experience
• Assist with defining test scenarios
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timeline fashion

Skills:

• Verbal & written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to details & interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

• Basic computer (Microsoft Suite, Visio, ADO, Miro)

• Knowledge & Experience working in Agile

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with mobile app teams
• Experience building data sources and writing SQL queries
• Experience working with Power BI teams
• Experience working with portals/webpages

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2-6 years experience
