Title : HR Coordinator

Wage : $20-$23 / hr

Location : Stafford, CT

Contract : 12 months

What you'll do as an HR Coordinator :

  • Coordinate the implementation of multiple HR processes and compile employee information
  • Handle problems which typically require identifying solutions by selecting from alternative courses of action
  • Provide guidance to co-workers or new employees mainly on routine supporting duties
  • Follow a variety of generally defined procedures within functional disciplines such as benefits, compensation, staffing, employee relations, operations, etc.
  • Serves as main employee contact for subject matter that includes : payroll, benefits, disability and other HR related day to day questions and issues
  • Support the external staffing process for salary and hourly employees which includes administering testing, scheduling interviews, etc.
  • Coordinate various company events throughout the year such as the employee picnic, employee recognition events, etc.

What you’ll bring to the HR Coordinator role :

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 year degree at a technical / vocational / trade school
  • 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Good coordination, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of computer programs and corporate systems relevant, specifically Workday
