Worksite Location : Sartell, MN
Compensation : $35.00-$40.00 per hour
What you’ll do as the Staff Accountant :
Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts
Perform month-end close duties and assist in preparing the monthly financial statement reporting package and supplemental monthly reports
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including variance and margin analysis
Assist with the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts
Prepare and analyze excess and inactive, as well as other, inventory reports
Assist in the preparation of annual insurance renewals
Prepare government and industry business reports
Serve as the lead for production labor reporting needs
Manage the Concur travel expense process, and fixed asset / capital expenditure process
Assist CFO / Corporate Controller / Plant Controller with special projects
What you’ll bring to the Staff Accountant role :
Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Accounting
3 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time with minimal supervision
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Proficient in Excel, experience with NetSuite would be a plus
Understanding of sales cycle from order entry through collection
Strong analytical skills with ability to evaluate risk / reward
Strong verbal and written skills
Outward personality and ability to communicate at all levels
