Position SummaryThe Material Coordinator performs support tasks for the Fabrication Department .
Responsibilities
  • Uses basic math to calculate labor and material requirements
  • Maintains inventory records for production materials and supplies
  • Maintains training records
  • Orders out-of-stock materials
  • Creates and changes work orders
  • Maintains files of departmental paperwork
  • Acts as back-up for laser nester/programmer
  • Updates safety and production matrix documentation
  • Good knowledge about Wynsoft (assign and prioritize work)
  • Program s , set s up, and schedul es sheet metal parts for laser cutting using AutoCad Inventor Software and nesting software SigmaNest
  • Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
  • Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
Qualifications
  • H igh school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • MS Office skills, including Word and Excel
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization al skills
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Team orientation
