We are known as experts in engineering, manufacturing, and servicing innovative automated materials handling systems including conveyors, automatic guided vehicles, automated storage & retrieval systems, and integrated controls.

The company is currently seeking an experienced Tax Accountant II.

Responsibilities

Primary Purpose

Sales tax, personal property tax, business licenses, 1099s, quarterly tax provision. This position reports to the Tax Sr. Manager.

Major Areas of Responsibility

• Other projects as assigned
• Prepare files for quarterly tax provsion
• Prepare files necessary for sales tax return preparation (by third party) and reconciliation
• Prepare and file local business license taxes
• Maintain compliance calendar
• Audit support as needed

Knowledge

• Computer Programs— Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• English Language— Knowledge of structure and content of English language including meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar

Education & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent
• 3-4 years experience in a corporate tax department (non-public accounting)
• Experience with Longview Tax Provision Software a plus
• Experience in preparing corporate income tax returns and/or provision work
• Experience in filing sales tax returns
• Experience with SAP a plus
• CPA not required

Demonstrated Physical Abilities

Remain stationary for 50% of the time; move/traverse throughout the office to access file cabinets and office equipment; operate a computer and other productivity machinery; inspect documents; communicate with others through talking/hearing; read/identify/assess forms and correspondence.
