- Builds Rooftop HVAC units by assembling various complex component parts.
- Required to perform a variety of assembly operations, moving within the area to meet production needs, performing tasks including buildup, electrical assembly, interior/exterior component fit-up, and final assembly.
- Uses a computer for assembly drawings.
- Performs a quality check on the unit before it leaves the assembly station. Performs 5S procedures.
- Takes part in the training process for all new team members.
- Provides input regarding the performance of new team members.
- Participates with other team members on safety, process and quality improvement teams.
- Works with team members, supervisors and support areas to coordinate workflow to meet production requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to operate hand tools
- Ability to read and understand written English
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous manufacturing experience
