A Day in the Life:
- Interfaces with internal client groups to understand all planned projects and meet project schedule deadlines with a focus on chillers testing.
- Designs and models testing software for chiller and lab equipment and systems for commercial, industrial, domestic and internal purposes.
- Designs and directs engineering personnel in the fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and determines methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products.
- Develops applications of controls, instruments, and systems for new commercial, domestic, and industrial uses.
- Directs activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.
- Directs and coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field and internal installations.
- Uses computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.

- Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Computer Engineering),
- 2-5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires knowledge of principles and practices of engineering, preferably in the HVAC industry.
- PC skills including Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of object-oriented software development required.
- Experience with C , HTML, Linux OS, and LabView preferred. Experience with PLC’s and HVAC is a plus.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills.
- Extensive problem-solving and computer skills.
