Daikin Comfort is Hiring a Director Organizational Change Management Near Waller, TX

The Director, Organizational Change Management position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the SAP implementation projects. This includes managing teams, budgets, timelines, and ensuring that SAP solutions meet business objectives. This position collaborates with various stakeholders to align SAP initiatives with broader organizational goals and drive innovation within SAP ecosystem. Additionally, they may be involved in vendor management, risk assessment, and strategic planning to ensure the successful delivery of SAP projects. The Director, Organizational Change Management must deliver SAP components to the business to help advance the company strategy. They are responsible for managing the digital transformation of One Daikin through setting up and delivering complex strategic projects and programs - in scope, on budget, on time and in line with our quality standards.
Position ResponsibilitiesMay include;
  • Lead implantation and change management projects and subprojects including the technical coordination of diverse teams.
  • Provide leadership or manage teams that work on SAP initiatives.
  • Establish strong collaboration with internal and external team members as well as offshore resources.
  • Function as an owner of the IT/SAP solutions in the area/areas of responsibility.
  • Develop and implement activities related to end-to-end project management, including project plans and estimates, priorities, and requirements from discovery through implementation.
  • Proactively monitor, handle and report on execution of deliverables and project financials.
  • Ability to manage several projects in parallel.
  • Project and program management reviews with focus on governance and execution.
  • Escalation management.
  • Represent and ensure alignment with leadership on direction and intent of project activities of their Program.
  • Mentors and develops team members to prepare them for greater responsibility within the organization
  • Relationship Management: Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners
  • Works with suppliers to improve quality and resolve product issues
  • Communicates project plans and works cross-functionally to gain consensus from all stakeholders
  • Mentors and develops team members to prepare them for greater responsibility within the organization
  • Prepares development, talent and succession plans for the team
  • Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
Nature & Scope
  • Ensures work is aligned with the Vice President’s expectations, goals, and vision
  • Implementation of policies, processes, and procedures for short-term results
  • Decisions and problem-solving are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from Senior Manager/Director
  • Works on difficult to moderately complex issues and projects
  • Provides training to subordinates
  • Has authority to hire, recommend pay, establish performance and recommend for terminations
  • Level of signing authority established by company policy/guidelines
Knowledge & Skills
  • Highly experienced with SAP S/4HANA implementations and business transformation programs
  • Preferably experienced in Implementation and migration to SAP S/4HANA (Greenfield and Brownfield) as well as fit to standard approach.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading IT projects with specific experience and knowledge with SAP S/4HANA, both functionally and technically oriented projects, such as upgrades, new installations.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels inside and outside the company
  • Confirmed project management skills, knowledge, and experience with new technology projects, (PMP PMI certificate is considered as an advantage).
  • Proven history of delivering projects on time, on budget and to quality to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Strong experience in risk & issue management, financial management, stakeholder management.
  • Relationship Management: Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners

  • Strong working knowledge with MS Office – Excel, Outlook, Word, & PowerPoint

  • Proven ability to develop and manage critical relationships
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with teams and individuals

  • Possess strong people skills to deal effectively with a wide variety of people assertively and confidently
Experience
  • 12 plus years of experience in leading IT projects with specific experience and knowledge with SAP S/4HANA, both functionally and technically orientated projects, such as upgrades and new installations.
  • 8 plus years of leadership experience in direct management of teams and project management roles
  • 5-10 years in HVAC industry preferred but not required
Education/Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in business, psychology, IT, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Certification in change management is highly desirable (e.g., Prosci certification).
