The Opportunity

The Senior Business Systems Specialist is a visionary contributor responsible for defining the future trajectory of our Salesforce Sales Cloud environment and, more broadly, sales enablement throughout the organization. By championing a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making, the Salesforce Business Specialist drives transformative change and fosters strategic partnerships to position Daikin at the forefront of equipping our sales organization with the digital tools they need to succeed.

May include:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business users, SMEs, and stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize requirements. Use methods including interviews, surveys, and workshops.
  • Synthesize Complex Requirements: Lead the convergence of business requirements, data analyses, and Salesforce platform expertise to enable confident decision-making concerning changes to the platform and integrated systems.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with Salesforce architects in conceptualizing solutions that best satisfy requirements, maximize impact, and accelerate delivery.
  • Data Analysis: Retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data from various enterprise systems, to inform decisions and validate the impact of implemented solutions.
  • Process Improvement & Mining: Lead processes improvement projects related to Salesforce in consideration of people, technology, and business outcomes. Generate and maintain level 1-3 process maps. Propose process-mining strategies. Identify opportunities for automation.
  • Business & Product Documentation: Build and maintain comprehensive documentation including requirements, system configuration, and design decisions, enabling business and development to work from a single source of truth.
  • Deliver with Agility: Support the design, build, and learn cycle, maximizing value delivery to our business and Salesforce users. Participate in grooming the product backlog, based on continuously evolving requirements, to achieve business objectives. Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure business requirements are clearly conveyed prior to build.
  • User Testing: Develop test plans, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), analyze user feedback, and coordinate bug fixes with development team.
  • Build Relationships: Engage with and build report with stakeholders, team members, and users from across the organization to establish strong working relationships at all levels.
  • Technology Trends & Best Practices: Stay current with sales enablement technology trends and industry best practices, to enhance the capabilities and extensibility of the Salesforce platform, accelerating and improving outcomes.
  • User Experience Focused: Understand and develop empathy for business users to elevate their journeys within Salesforce implementation, leading to their increased engagement and positive reception of the platform.
  • Participate in additional projects/activities as needed.

Nature & Scope

  • Applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience
  • Manages projects and processes while working independently and with limited supervision
  • Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals
  • Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex; takes a new perspective on existing solutions

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong ability to elicit requirements from, and validate solution concepts with stakeholders, SMEs and users.
  • Experience creating process maps, per standards such as UPN or BPMN, including ability to identify improvement opportunities and suggest solutions.
  • Experience managing technical documentation on knowledge base solutions such as Confluence or Notion
  • Experience working in agile teams.
  • Proficient at retrieving and manipulating large data sets; Experienced in SQL ;
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI. Expert in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Capable of successfully collaborating across teams and geographies

Experience

6 years experience as a Business Analyst or relevant experience, in software development or IT implementation projects.

3 years experience working on implementation of Salesforce Sales Cloud/CRM as Business Analyst,

Salesforce Admin, Consultant, or other technical role.

Education/Certification

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.

Certified Salesforce Administrator preferred.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

May require occasional overtime during peak campaign periods
