Job Description:
The Assistant Event Coordinator will support the planning and execution of various events, including workshops, exhibitions, and community meet ups. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a passion for art and design, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Job:Full time
Salary Range:
$42,500- $58,000 annually
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring all details are covered.
  • Communicate with vendors, artists, and participants to coordinate event logistics.
  • Help with the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring all equipment and materials are in place.
  • Manage event registrations, including processing payments and maintaining attendee lists.
  • Provide on-site support during events, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring a smooth experience for attendees.
  • Maintain detailed records of event activities, expenses, and feedback for future reference.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to develop engaging content related to upcoming events.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
  • A passion for digital art and design is a plus.
