Pay: $35.00-$37.00/hour
Schedule: Mon - Fri 7 AM - 4 PM or 12 PM - 9 PM
Diesel Mechanic Job Duties:

• Perform preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, etc.
• Duties include but are not limited to changing tires, inspecting and repairing brakes, steering mechanisms, fixing electrical wiring, replacing belts, repairing u-joints, adjusting clutches, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure they are in proper operating condition.
• Use of Hydraulic jacks and hoists to raise trucks, trailers, other motor vehicles, and heavy equipment.
• Examine and adjust protective guards, loosen bolts, and specified safety
• Inspect, repair, maintain automotive, mechanical equipment, and machinery.

Diesel Mechanic Background Profile:

• At least 5-years experience working on Class A equipment or Diesel Equipment
• At least 1 year of Leadership experience preferred, not required.
• Class A CDL preferred, not required.
• Mechanical aptitude
• Previous tech school preferred
• Previous diesel or automotive experience preferred
• Preferred experience with INSITE, DL and NAVSTAR service tools
• Experience with FWHA / BIT requirements.
