Provide relief / backup support for company when drivers are on vacation or other time off. May provide on-call relief, cover partial trips or fill in due to staffing needs.
Demonstrate knowledge of multiple delivery routes and possess necessary qualifications and experience to drive class B vehicles per the relief driving assignment.
Keep up-to-date knowledge of routes, which may include going on route ride(s) to keep active knowledge. Operate a straight truck or pup truck to deliver products in a safe and timely manner to customers according to the delivery route schedule as determined by the supervisor.
Demonstrate high standards of customer service. Communicate frequently with peers, supervisors, and others.

may include stocking, rotating, and / or ordering of product (varies from route to route)
document condition of freight before departure
