Accounts Receivable Responsibilities

• Reconcile customer accounts to ensure that payments match outstanding balances. Investigate and resolve billing errors or discrepancies.
• Follow up with customers who have overdue invoices. Send reminders, statements, or collection notices as necessary. Make daily collection calls/emails to customers with aged invoices when necessary.
• Generate and review accounts receivable aging reports regularly to track outstanding invoices and prioritize collection efforts. Report on past due amounts to management.
• Process write-offs of accounts receivable and refunds to clients.
• Assist the Controller to research billing documents and details and in addressing audit needs.
• Implement and maintain policies and procedures to ensure timely and accurate billing and collections.
• Evaluate and improve invoice and collection processes.
• Other duties assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Weekly day range: Monday through Friday 8 AM – 5 PM with some flexibility.

Work Location: In person.

Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 annual salary with bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of associate degree in accounting, business, or related field or minimum 3 years' experience in Accounting/Finance, preferably in Accounts Receivable/Collections.
• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP.
• Experience with Office365 products, especially with Excel.
• Knowledge of SalesPad, ePay, and Salesforce preferred but not required.

• Ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently and independently.
• Must demonstrate high attention to detail and follow through.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills; written and verbal.
