Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch is Hiring a Mental Health Therapist Near Fargo, ND

We are seeking to hire an experienced and dedicated Therapist to provide mental health care for children and adolescents in grades K-12.

The children and adolescents who come to Dakota Family Services have complex mental and behavioral health issues, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, depression, autism, bipolar disorder, and trauma. If you are passionate about changing the lives of youth and their families, consider joining the multi-disciplinary team at Dakota Family Services.

Responsibilities:

Walk alongside patients during their mental health journey and advocate for them by connecting them with the resources they need to accomplish their mental health goals.

  • Provide evidence-based services to help patients meet their treatment goals.
  • Conduct therapy, groups, and family therapy when clinically indicated.
  • Provide client diagnosis as appropriate, using the DSM-V, and in consultation with psychology or psychiatry providers as necessary to coordinate patient care.
  • Provide integrated services by communicating and documenting services, care, and treatment.
  • Modify the patient's treatment plan as needed to meet their therapeutic needs.

Minimum qualifications/education:

  • Must be licensed as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMSW in North Dakota, or be able to obtain licensure in North Dakota.
  • Master's or doctorate degree required.
  • Must have an insurable driving record to be able to drive agency vehicles.
