We are a midsized CPA firm with a highly spirited and enthusiastic team culture, located in Santa Rosa, California. We are seeking CPA candidates with 2-4 years of public accounting experience. We do offer our employees the option to work remotely, but some time is required to be present in the office as well. Motivated individuals will have the opportunity to advance quickly in their career.

Within the firm, we offer opportunities to provide both assurance services and income tax services to our clients. All accountants receive cross-functional assignments, particularly in their first several years, in order to develop a well-rounded base of professional experience. If the candidate has a preference for either tax or assurance projects, exceptions from our cross functional assignments can be made.

The nature of our practice provides opportunities for staff to work with client organizations and individuals with complex accounting and tax needs under the supervision of partners and managers with substantial experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare Individual, Corporate, S-Corporation, Partnership, and Trust income tax returns
• Prepare detailed work papers for tax engagements
• Assist staff with tax projects as needed
• Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of experience in taxation and public accounting
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Motivated to work in both a team-oriented environment and independently
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA preferred, must meet the 150 unit requirement.

Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000 depending on experience.
