Daley and Associates is Hiring a FP&A Analyst (Asset Management) - 24723 Near Boston, MA

FP&A Analyst - Boston, MA - Asset ManagementA leading manager of direct lending and tradable credit investment products, with approximately $21 billion in assets under management is looking to hire a FP&A Analyst to their growing team. This position will offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success and strategic growth of a well performing fund.
Responsibilities:
  • Implementation and maintenance of Workday Adaptive Planning software
  • Identify automation opportunities in financial reporting
  • Perform operational analysis, build/maintain operational models to analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators
  • Provide monthly financial forecasts and financial reporting with accurate and timely information
  • Track and forecast assets under management for multiple product lines and the associated revenue
  • Analyze expense trends and update forecasts accordingly
  • Assist in preparing and executing annual budget
  • Refine and continually improve budgeting, and financial projections
  • Analyze balance sheet investments and the impact on the financial results
  • Prepare financial variance reports and research underlying drivers
  • Prepare information needed for month-end accounting book close
  • Prepare materials for senior management team and others
  • Support day-to-day ad hoc reporting and analytic requests
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Coordinate with accounting and portfolio operations teams on reporting actual financial results
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field
  • 2-4 years of relevant FP&A experience working with multiple business lines
  • Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative is a MUST
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel, experience with Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, Oracle Hyperion Planning, NetSuite Planning and Budgeting, and/or other similar planning software a plus
  • Familiarity with general ledger systems and business intelligence tools
