Daley and Associates is Hiring a Senior Corporate Staff Accountant - 25081 Near Providence, RI
Will support the Corporate Controller, primary responsibilities include journal entries, general ledger, reconciliations, financial statements, A/P, A/R, audits and month and year-end close.
This is a 6-month role with an opportunity for extension and/or an opportunity to become permanent.
Hourly Pay Rate: Up to $45.00 (based on relevant work experience)
3 days on-site per week!Responsibilities:
- Perform Journal Entries and Adjustments
- Post daily cash activity
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Bank Statements Reconciliations
- Accounts Payable Reconciliations
- Reconcile General Ledger Accounts Reconciliations
- Financial statement preparation (subsidiary ledgers and identify variances)
- Assist in month-end close responsibilities
- 4 years’ experience in general accounting, reconciliation and month end responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent preferred
- Ability to multi-task
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
