Daley and Associates is Hiring a Remote Vice President of Sales - REMOTE OPPORTUNITY - 24563

VP of Sales - REMOTE OPPORTUNITYA well-established national engineering company located in Dayton, Ohio is seeking a Vice President of Sales to join in a leadership role on their sales team. This position will be responsible for overseeing a team of sales professionals and participating in growing out their team. Additional responsibilities include managing the company's sales pipeline and client relationships, along with additional opportunities to participate in the sales cycle. This is a remote position and the company will pay up to $180k on a base plus variable pay.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Own Sales strategy and execution to achieve team revenue target and market share growth, with a focus on driving new client acquisition
  • Develop and implement critical sales processes (including prospecting, and updating CRM), sales KPI dashboards, and provide regular reports to leadership and Board of Directors
  • Lead, hire, train and manage sales team members to achieve sales objectives and maximize performance
  • Build and deepen relationships with key clients and support sales team to expand client relationships
  • Prepare and present sales forecast and other sales analyses and actively contribute to Monthly and Quarterly reviews, as required
  • Work closely with other functional leadership within LJB, including Marketing, Operations and Finance, to help improve communication, streamline workflows, and improve revenue forecasting and gross margins
Qualifications:
  • 8 years of sales, with a focus on managing.
  • Prior sales and management experience required.
  • Experience in the Engineering or Construction industry is a plus but not a requirement
  • Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills
  • Be highly analytical, quantitative, with strong critical thinking and sound business judgment
  • Strong strategic thinker and general manager mindset; capable of translating business objectives into tactical action plans and executing upon them
